Life Science has started with a little P.S.I (plant scene investigation). The unit got started with a field trip to a local park. Students went on a scavenger hunt to find plant life. Digital photos and samples of plant life were brought back to the classroom for more investigation.
Classroom activities include students estimating the number of chloroplast in a leaf, analyzing the different structures of a leaf, and dyeing the vascular tissues of plants. A Wiki site has been started to compile their notes for this unit. Please explore are Wiki site at http://lmsscience7.wetpaint.com/
