March 17, 2009

Over 25 different activities were offered to Lexington Middle School students involved in the Multiple Choices Afterschool Program. These classes began on February 18 and were offered for six weeks. Ninety students took advantage of these activities. These activities have included chess, computer projects, reader's theatre, robotics, snack making, sports, rocketry, sewing, math games, plus much more.  Click here for a registration form and a listing of activities List of Classes

These classes are open to any middle school student who expresses an interest. Students may wish to take advantage of these offerings or they can wish to enroll in LMS's Multiple Choices program. In Multiple Choices, students choose multiple interactive and project-focused activities. Homework assistance is available in conjunction with enrichment activities. These enrichment activities or special interest courses help build social skills and learn new skills.

New activity offering will begin March 30, these classes will run for four weeks. For more information about Multiple Choices, please contact Karime Rios, at 746-4306.
