The 7th grade students who met their AR goals this term enjoyed some fun in the sun for their incentive party. The students who met their goals went outside to play some soccer, kickball, and flag football. Mr. Allen was in full recruiting mode setting up the nets and letting the students play some soccer. He said there many great players that he would like to have on his high school team in a couple years. Mr. Havranek headed the kickball game being all time pitcher. Mrs. Dorsey and Mrs. McKenna rounded up as many players as they could for the flag football game.
Students who did not meet their goal were in the school getting a head start on their AR goal for next term. They were given various short books with AR tests to read or they could read their own book of choosing.
After the outdoor games were over the students headed over for some reading “cheers.” It seemed like Mrs. McKenna’s group did the best at the cheer having both spirit along with a choreographed routine. With the cheer victory let her group go off to lunch first. The students brought their lunches to school and enjoyed them on the football field during that beautiful day. The main thing was that everyone had a good time.
