The Jaguars Edge the Minutemen

The 8th Grade Minutemen made the forty-five minute trip to Kearney on Tuesday. It was the last games of the season. Enthusiasm was high on the bus ride over and carried into the game. The “C” game started off as an exciting battle with the Minutemen and the Jaguars exchanging the lead throughout the game. The Minutemen tried to pull away, but came up short. The final score was 23-10.
The “B” team was out to avenge the loss of the “C” game. The Minutemen came out strong. Like the “C” game, the Minutemen and the Jaguars exchanged the lead throughout the game. In the end, the Minutemen came up short. The final score was 14-7. The Jaguars prevailed again.
The two “A” teams played the last game of the day. Both teams did a great job on offense and defense. In the end, the Jaguars won the last game. The final score was 44-28. The coaching staff was pleased with the players’ effort. The Minutemen did a great job this season. The coaching staff wants to wish the Minutemen the best of luck next year.
